Almost finished with the 'little' custom dash,

I sourced some small sheets of metal from a company I deliver to, these are just off cuts that I took.

On my top yoke I only have the 1 fixing bolt to hold the dash in so I'm abit worried about the strength of it.

Fairly easy to do, the bench grinder I just got makes it a bit quicker when it comes to tidying up the cuts and holes I made.

Also In the booklet for the vapour there's a template for the 2 screws to mount the speedo to any dash, helps to get the perfect fit. Heres the pics, All self explanatory really.









I double checked to make sure it was obstructing any of the cables, brake line, clutch, accelerator etc but it has tidied them ones up, their not hanging over the top all over the place which is good.

I fitted a little green LED which will be wired into the indi's, just to let me know to turn then the F**K off when I'm done with em lol



All I need now is to source some vinyl, my mate might have some carbon fibre look 1's if not gonna try and get some more off cuts from another company I deliver to lol so all in all not bad for free

dude what handle bars are they? u gota get a brace bar for them if u ever go offroad they will fold like cheeese

the second dt i bought had a set of bent renthal on it and i slightly bent my red ones when i fliped lmao fat bars all the way man i have some sick planes for when i get a drz with fat bars and a set of vapours will look sick XD

i love the twin walls alot stronger but for my planes on the drz when i get one XD i need no brace =[

they are tapers so fat wer the bars clamp on and get skinny wer the luch leaver and switch gear sit so all fits only thing that needs changeing or moding is if u have full wrap around hand guards

been having trouble mounting the ignition and have fcuked that dash up, was planning on getting rid of it and having a switch hidden somewhere or maybe a different key ignition setup, they sell some in Maplins but wasnt 100% sure it would work. I then decided to give it another go, brad came round and we figured it out.

I dont have the standard yokes so there was no need for the bulky steering lock at the bottom of the ignition so we removed that which made it easier to fit straight on.

So heres the newer inproved model..........











Vinyl wrapped it which is quicker but pobably would have been better to spray it instead.


Heres the weird part, i wanted to fit that led light to let you know the indi's are on so i wired it to the relay so when the indi comes on the light does but it does something otally different.
When i put the ignition on the light comes on, when i indicate the light flashes, dont know how the fcuk that has happened as its only wired to the relay for the indi's????? Anyone got a clue????
