Ok so clutch cable snapped...ordered a new one, but it's too short??! When it's all connected (properly like the one before) it is too tight, the clutch is engaged when I'm not even touching the lever! Do dtx's have a different clutch cable to other dts? If so...WTF lol.

Thought about taking off crank casing and adjusting clutch at pushrod but that's a lot of effort to then realise it's already adjusted to max lol.

Any ideas? I have already adjusted fully at lever, still too tight :(

If it was too tight wouldn't it be disengaging the clutch (as if u wer pulling the lever)
Have u slackend it right off at the engine end of the cable?

Yes disengaged...isn't that a lot of hassle? Draining engine oil...coolant...crank casing off ect?? All that effort just to find out it's already loosened as much as poss? Lol

Yea u defo shouldn't av to take the casing off for it , unless the push rod has been set up wrong wen the clutch plates wer changed ect , if it worked fine before the cable snapped , then it's most likely the new one causing the trouble,
