theres quite alot of info on the forum if you search around, you should introduce yourself.
first 100 miles, dont rev bike above 5000 rpm and stay under 30 mph, stop every now and then aswell.
300 miles, dont rev above 6000 rpm stay under 40 mph, dont stay at 40 all the time though, slow down every now and then.
500 miles, you can take it to 65 mph, dont rev it to hard though and dont stay at the same speed all the time.

your all good to go :) people may have different views but this is how i do it.

oh welcome to the forum too :)

hi m8, it is very easy i had done my first rebuild 2months ago, recomend you get haynes manual. use guenuine gaskets, oil piston and crank well, don't use pistons cheaper than £40 (MITIKA Taiwan) japans ok, the rings are so soft the will melt within 2000miles

go easy for the first 100miles then start building up speeds after 350miles

HAYNES ARE THE KEY TO SUCESS
