is this a standard exhaust

had this exhaust in my spares collection for a while it was on a mid 90s dtr i had a while back.

its got no markings on it at all is it standard?

i tell u what to me that looks like a cut down dep pipe mate looks the same as bradders pipe witch he cut down him self that one just isent poliched

i thought, i got an exhaust in the shed that looks exactly the same.

it looks better under the pannles because it dont stick out as far and they are sopost to sound nicer XD

yea man thts the same as mine , stubby dep.

bk was it you that wanted me to do urs but couldnt go with out a pipe while i had it?? if it is iv got another pipe , well steve has but he aint using it and iv got it atm  , its the same as toysoldiers but in black

lol the end can i have is held on with string and is bloddy loude XD but i want a stubby dep i just gota get a dep for u to cut down XD

I'd say thats a DEP end can, thats been cut down, and looking at where it has been cut down to, I'd say that it must be a common place for the baffles to break at, I'll explain what I mean by this. Other day I thought I'd clean my end can as it was a bit scabby, as I picked it up I noticed that the baffle seemed loose, sliding up and down inside, so I opened it up to find the baffle had broken off at where it joins the ingoing pipe, and also had broken / worn about 4 inches up from that, the baffle itself was encrusted with about an 1/8" of carbon, none of the holes were visible whatsoever, after cleaning the baffle up like new splaying it out at the bottom to go over the spigot filling it all back up with the soundproofing cloth and chopping the casing down to suit the new baffle size this is what I ended up with.

 steves new dtr had that same pipe u got m8 and yea it is loud as ****!lol too loud imo 

 

btw that is defo a dep pipe no doubt about it, the bit that had dep stamped on it has been cut off m8

 i find it to be just as loud as i like it to bad the naboures dont agree lol

Bradders, i got a stubby can now mate. :) dont worry. and if there is such a high carbon build up, maybe using the wrong 2T?
