Hi there, Ive been long in thought about it and yes id like to get the drill out and drill out them rivets that hold on the nose of the dep can and Gutt it out so there is nothing there. But what crosses my mind is what will i use to put the nose back on with? also what are the highes and lows of doing this? I mean, Will i gain more power, Make it louder, Lose power, Pass MOT, Or is it just a bad idea as the packing is what catches the crap from the engine. I'd like to do it but just dunno if it's worth it?
buy a rivet gun wilkoonsons sell them for like £10 with loads of rivets and its handy to hae one anyway and tbh send it to bradders and get it stubbyed it sounds nicers and looks nicer as it dont stick out so far and he polishes it aswell if im not mistaken
Yeah Seems like a good idea when i get the bike back il do it. il take some pics along the way. Oh a little off topic here. Dose anyone know what polish i should use to make the dep end crome.
If u gut it m8 it's gonna be loud as **** , doesn't sound tht gd either tbh , also not sure if the mot tester will be happy with it gutted as there tht loud lol, Plus with out the packing in there it's gonna dribble out oil as tht stuff catches it all . And it's best to replace the packing anyway , I bet u any money that the packing that currently in there will be soaked in oil
Also rivet gun to put it back together or tap a thread in there n use smart little button head bolts (check out supersteves pipe)
i can do it the same day as i recive it and send it back the next so depends on how long postage takes, iv got a spare pipe here u can borrow but urll have to pay postage on that aswell ,let me know wen u wanna do it m8

Il send you a message when ive got my bike back from the garage and sort out the paypal or cash in the pipe when i send it recorded delivery. either way it's upto you how ud like to be paid. Hi bradders had a rethink about my pipe. It's gonna need packing as well as now its leaking I was gonna have nothing in it but it will just do the same so.. when are u able to send ur spare pipe? Il send the money with the pipe but won't be able to send till Saturday.. I'd like a polish, repacking and chop off too plz. Let me know when u want me to give u my addy. Cheers jay
Cheers I like em loud but ur work looks good. Is drilled out the rivets and took some packing out but sound all tinny now. An still leaks a little but love the idea of a polish dep. Have u seen the new dep on eBay for. About 250.
