Right finally got some pics up of my DT 2000....... Bought it last february off a **** which didnt tell me all the things wrong with it, including a new bottom end in it!!! Had to wait for 7 weeks for my V5 before doing any work on it cus i later thought it may have been stolen :/

Anyway it came back cocha gladly, fitted a new bottom end in 4000 miles and now it jus dont wanna start, taking it to the garage tomoz for a quote, hopefully it wont be too expensive otherwise ill be looking for a breaking dt or a good wiring loom 3RM, ( Anyone selling the loom :P ???)

Seeing it as more of a project now...... If and when i get it running im wanting to carry on cleanin up the bike, spray the panels and stickers and maybe a dep :) Main thing is getting it going and road worthy

Ill keep ya posted on how it goes, here are the pics :)

Cool Mann, like i said looked good at the time :) When i first went and saw it, it was running fine, looked like it jus needed a bit of TLC really :/ wasnt untill a few weeks later when my mate started playing round with it and found a massive hole in the bottom end which had been welded to seal it :/ oh well hopefully soon ill be on the road with it :)

ouch m8 i know how ya feel same happended to me dont give up on it m8 you wont be dissapointed when its goin .
engine numbers aint important for an mot m8 all they want is the frame number iv checked it out an done it
pick yaself up an engine with no numbers cheap as chips m8 i think most people just assume there unusable on road an let em go cheap

Yeah my mates checked most things on it.... the coil dont look too good but i jus wanna make sure its that and nothing else really by the garage :) The thing wrong with it is that it sparks but a very weak one and it doesnt spark long enough to start the engine :/
