Handle Bar Queries!

I'm wanting to change my stock DT handlebars to something a bit more fancy. I've got two types in mind at the moment, the Renthal fat bars/Renthal's with a brace. I'm swaying more so towards the braced type, as i can get some for cheap that have come off a bandit. My only concern is are these bars a straightforward fit? confuse

Any input/suggestions on any different bars etc are appreciated! biggrin

Have a look at the Paris/Dakar Renthal handlebars, I put them on my Rieju, and being much taller and a bit wider, makes for a more comfier ride, especially if you are tall (stops you hunching over the bars, and more of an upright ride)only thing I did have to do was to buy a universal clutch cable, as the standard one was about 4" too short.

I got some Renthal Twin-walls but haven't fitted them yet as i dont have a clue what clamps will fit my dt-re?

I got them CHEAP from a friend, he got them for his kx125 but never go round to fitting the fatbar clamps on so sold them me (Brand new with tags)! :D

Back to this thread was wondering if any one knows of any aftermarket bars which are as wide as the standard stock ones off an Re?? You can see quite a bit of rust coming through on mine now and they cant be any longer as my path is too narrow

Thanks in advance

Get some renthals mate, the normal ones with a brace and pad in the colours of your choice would be perfect and fairly cheap.

Your having a laugh aint ya?

90 nuggets for some handle bars!

Mate for the money your better off with the ones i showed you and that I put on my bike. Seems pointless unless your going to crash all the time.
