Engine rebuild question?

ive been reading on the other part of this forum that its recomended to rebuild your engine every 12000 miles mines has just turned 19000 and still not been touched.

how do you know if you need a rebuild do you have to wait to it seizes or just rebuild it when ever you feel like it my bike is still starting first kick and running like a dream i dont really wana touch the engine if its going so well lol.

n yeah im with you there i don't plan on rebuilding mine until it either seizes or just doesn't start lol.

mines done 24,000  and  still going strong

so dont worry man

but if it gets so bad that you can move the piston about wiv ur hand in the exhaust port then its probs time to do a top end

you will know when the bottom needs doing coz you will get a rumbble from the bearings

ooo ok mate thanks for the reassurance i don't think it wobbles but then ive never tried to move it a may try it in the future.
