hi all i have a intermitent problem with my bike, it starts wen it wants to basicaly it was running the other day and it was running nice road it for a bit turned it off went to take it out the back and it wouldnt start so i stripped the plastics looked around the wires couldnt see a problem soo i took the plug out cleaned it put it back in and it run so i put it all back together and put it in my shed, went to take it out to clean it and have a little play up and down my street and it started once and wouldnt start again i think it might be electrical because it sparks when the ignition is off :S and only does it now and then but any help would be appreciated :)
kk forgot to say it wont start it the ignitions turned off but when then plugs out u can see it sparking also i have n and oil lights when i turn ignition on but is the head light suposed to come on even when its not started ???
im gunna buy new spark plug tomorrow and try that me and my dad found a loose connection on the 1 of the plugs behind the head light and fixed that and also wd40'ed alot of the plugs
got it working after umm not to sure what it was i figured out if u took the plug out and cleaned it and checked to see if it was sparking then put it back in the bike would run for like 10 secs then bog down and die so i turned petrol off and forgot lol bumped it thinking it was a fuel problem and it run so i rode up my street then down and bike cut out so had to push it back up a steep hill (killed me lol ) was just about to have a fag break looked at the petrol tap then remembered so turn fuel back on first kick it started so i think its a fuel problem had it a few times now sooo....cant clean the carb properly bcoz sum1 has tried b4 and f**ked the screws up on the bowl so might buy another carb gunna see if any 1 on here got 1 but i did have it running and it was lovely lol :):):)
