Repairing Panels??

Hi recently got my DT back home now, waiting for someone to sell a carb but in the meantime id like to repair the panels on it as some are deeply scratched for when i come to paint it it will be a better finish.

jus wondering what is the best cheapest option to repair them or if someone could point me in the right direction??

(Searched to see if there was anything on here but couldnt really find anything)

Thanks

I had success with extremely fine wet and dry, depending on how deep the scratches are depends how long it will take,
If very deep try with a rougher piece of wet and dry then work your way down to the finest wet and dry,
