I think you're supposed to 'chamfer' the inlet manifold in.. Let us know how it performs biggrin

Looking good, how do you plan to get the bolt holes for the reed valve to fit? and what manifold are you using, the standard DT one? there seems to be quite a substantial size difference between the two.

fitted it today, had to drill new holes, the manifold lines up perfect with the new reed block, started her up fine, road it down my road, found a mega improvement in second gear the front wheel was up ,revs out nicer in each gear

cant do a full test until im insured,

also im fitting a bar mounted choke lever,

will get some pics up when my cam is charged

the v-force reeds only travel half of the standard ones, so the petals can move twice as fast so less splutter at full revs, also it has double the reed surface,

Lol all the little bits of money u spend could be saved and get a big bore kit. Reeds don't add any bhp they just help fule flow and responce on the throttle. If u want something to notice the get the cylinder ported or have it bored out to the max..

mine is ported the problem with the bore kits are the Porting its to similar to the standard barrel and also the head are known to crack, anyway the v-force are part of my intake mod as i have a bigger carb ready to fit

How much dose the porting do? And what carb are u gonna put on? I wanna port mine but is it really worth it? What dose urs do topend speed? Mine dose just under 80 but wouldn't like to push it anymore. I'm just feelin like I want it faster. Dunno where to start really.

hard to say with the porting as i had a rebore and forged piston and fitted the 3MB head, that made a massive difference on bottom end

to speed goes off the clock on standard gears gets to 65 really quick the 70 quick ish then builds up off the clock,

my new carbs a tm32 and the original was a tm28ss also gona fit a power jet

yeah i cant get mine off the clock. would like to but i dont think that will happen. Try and fit a bike speedo and see what you get? would be interesting.

bike now runs a tm30x

the inlet manifold was modded for my 200cc conversion, the middle part of the reed block was removed

runs very well with it!
