Brake caliper piston which way??

Just about to install new rubber seals in my rear brake caliper and i have a question.

Today i changed the front brake pads and noticed the piston is upside down "hollow side" faces out. But when i looked at my rear caliper piston it was the other way around        "flat part" faces out. So which way do i fit the rear piston? The same way as the front caliper? Or back in the way it was originally

the way it was mate both are put in different.

LOL i was hoping you were gona say install the same as the front, i kind of like the piston backwards.
