seen quite a few dtr's with upside down forks,

what bikes can donate there usd forks ?

are there any that fit state into the dt yolks/clamps?

can anyone shed sum light ??

Mines from a YZ450, it doesnt really matter where its from, They wont fit straight on. There is a bit of modding involced.

Usd's are generally newer so better internals than a dt (damper etc). The origional reason for usd's is less unsprung mass i do believe which is better for handling

Ur spot on there with the less unsprung weight thing fuggie, and also usd's have the capability for the rebound and damping to be adjusted plus I found the standard forks to be way to soft for me, And I very much doubt that there is a set of usd forks that will fit in standard yokes, as the fatter outer part of the fork has to go in the clamp , wer as normal forks the skinnier inner part is clamped, And no set of usd's are a straight swap as steve said, a bit of modding will be required, some info on how to do it is on my project thread | \l/
