I'm presuming your wiring colours aren't a million miles from mine, the 3 wires to back end are black(common earth) blue or blue/red (tail light bulb) yellow (brake light), I recently wired in an Acerbis tail tidy with the three wires Yellow was something daft like earth, on the tail tidy, red was brakes I think, if in doubt get a battery with two wires on to the tail tidy, just remember the brightest light is the brakes, hope this helps.
If you can, try and chop back the blue and yellow wires as far back as you can, then swap and re-crimp so you have black to green blue to blue yellow to yellow, Might make things easier in the future, or for the next chap
to nev, i really dont plan on selling the bike on now :D i have it just the way i like if anything i would just buy a sunday sports bike and keep this as a commuter because i dont own a car so not too many bills going out (:
and yeah thanks for the help people
also to the only way is YAMAHA DT, i was thinking why would there be a green with a blue and a yellow? :')

Did you connect up your new LED tail light as well as the original one on the rear fender or INSTEAD of? I couldn't get my LED enduro tail light thing to work on it's own no matter which way I connected it up and I tried it every way possible. In the end I wired it into the original light so both work together. Is that what you did?

good topic m8 i think thats the tail i goin for aswell been saved in my ebay weeks now.. how was it to fit m8 did you have to put it throught your rear fender at all
i have removed the old rear end if you check out my thread in the framework section, and tripr i have not fitted it fully but i belive by keeping the rear part of frame i can attach it without drilling the fender (:
