You're probably going to laugh now, I removed the kickstart to loose weight, 89DTR so no leccy start, I had to bump start it every time I wanted to use it, I think the kickstart will fit but you will really have to check, maybe someone here has a new and an old motor and could tell you the difference and what you may need extra, I think I read another thread about it somewhere on here, as for the petrol cap I really dont know what you mean, could you post a link or something?
The dtre/dtx has the ability to fit a kick start as you will know there is a black blanking plate there. Im not 100% sure what year will fit the dtre/dtx's but im pretty sure that it will fit. Im sure all dtr/re/x's use the same bottom end just different heads? So should fit straight in no problem but as i said im not 100% sure dude.

Here's the topic on adding the kickstart to a re/x, 2cnd page says what it needs for conversion http://dt125r.activeboard.com/t35899660/dt125re-kick-start-conversion/
The petrol cap isnt for me...seikis cap isnt letting in air...saw that bike breaking and thought he might wanna give em a call and see if he can get it cheap...although im sure he has sourced one already!!
Yeah i want to remove my elec start to save weight loool
Also, off subject...but what are peoples thoughts on hydraulic clutches?? in an mx parts mag i got there is a 'supermoto hydraulic reservoir'...just got me thinking about how much i love hydraulic clutches :)
Kickstart conversions can be done on DTRE/DTX Very simple if you can remove and reinstall the clutch, but that link is missing the idler gear which sits behind the clutch
ebay seiki only £17 i did pm u a link ages ago now lol allso with the cluch iv converted a bike to hydrolice befor wasent to hard to be fair just costly in a way
