spoted her on ebay  and messaged the owner with a offer of £400 lol just trying my luck.

but was shoked when he said ok and he even deliverd it within hours.

she is a dt 125 r 1989  red and white  he used it for competition enduro then put it in barn and left it for over ten years  .  but after a little clean and new eng oil and fuel it started in 2 kicks .

realy going to do loads more work on her next summer but for now she is ok  on the road and used loads.

update lol

not realy done to much to the dt apart from the normal cleaning and serviceing .. put a blavk seat on as was hard to find a decent red one like new and dont realy like the recovers .
she is pritty much ready for the mot needs for nothing .

http://youtu.be/MXSnZ_-LH2c

she been locked away in shed and unused with 2 others a black and purple but one sold and black one needs to go also . but never get rid of the 89 white for what she cost me no point ever selling .

poor old girl still never seen the road and still sits in my shed been of roading a couple of times but thats all she has done in around 11-12 years .

was toying with the idea of selling it on ? what do you think she would sell for with 1 / 2 owners and all original from new .

but then again always thought long term I will just give it my son when he reaches 16-17 in maybe 1 year .

Tricky aint it. It's a shame to sell it.

It's pretty standard isn't it? With an mot and tax you could get £1200 plus.

But it's hard to tell without looking at it. Totally depends on its mechanical state. I would love to get an 89 personaly. Red and white dtr is my favourite. But I am too far gone into my project to even consider swapping lmao!
