Best and cheapest in the same sentence, if you want the cheapest then just go to some garage and tell them you want it cheap and you'll get it back with a piston that was made by some guy in china with melted down drinks cans and cherry bakewell tins and a barrel that cost exactly the same as any other rebore, first thing that you should do is maybe say in what area you are in so someone can recommend a place close by unless you want to post it and second best/cheapest means you want an average quality job done right, nothing special just a rebore with an OEM +2.0 piston?

i bought a set for my old bike (suposedly genuine) but the head gasket was **** and would have never made a proper seal

(warning to all, grey top end gasket = **** does not have the proper rubber coating to help seal it)

PJME can supply the parts, a selection of different pistons and gasket kits for different budgets.
http://www.pjme.co.uk/acatalog/Yamaha_DT125R_Engine_Parts_Top_End.html

I think you can get them to do you're barrel too if you send it off - they are based up north somewhere.
http://www.pjme.co.uk/acatalog/Cylinder_Re-Boring.html

I got my parts from them for top end rebuild but had my barrel done by local bike shop, but no problems on their service and delivery of parts and I haven't heard anything bad about them.

only problem with a 2mm over size is the power valve will collide with the piston

When you take your barrell to the chaps who do the re-bore, they generally grind down the powervalve to suit. They did with mine anyroad.
