iv got a dtr 125 1989 model witch has been fitted with a 2005 engine (buy last owner) since having it iv got the lights to work buy fitting a new relay/regulator (not oringinal one just one to see if it solved the prob of blowing blubs withc it did) now i have the prob of dim lights and battery not charging at all think it could have something to do with the 2005 stator plate wiring as the ones comeing from it are all white as all others matched up ect so was just wondering if anybody has had,seen,solved this problem
any help/info would be great
p.s old 89 engine is 100% dead so no chance of that going back in
Got a new reg from other 89 dtr was working before was taken off but still the same and we're are all the earth onit as only seem to find one earthing on the engine
