Lol, i don't really see how it would be way better than a DEP, just looks like a cheap-ish pattern, varnish will probably flake off fast and the thing will rust up fast too.

well my pal had a dep fitted brought this and said it wheelied a lot better with this fited and sounded a lot more deeper

and on anuther note if you had a perfectly good dep why would you swap it out with a cheapy pipe of ebay unless there is something wrong with the dep

Expansion chambers, longer the pipe lower the revs its designed for, shorter the pipe higher the revs its designed for, yada yada blah blah, not going to explain it all because right now i cant be bothered but I'll write a thread on what the different pipes will effect and its not for combustion.

Got 1 of these on a 2003 and it goes really well and sounds good too. Has gone slightly rusty but only very little at the very bottom.

 here in portugal those pipess are called firebox and they're nice in therms of quality/price. Most people uses because dep's here are expensive

It's just developed a rattle from inside the exhaust so going to cut it open to have a peek. Not affected the bike it just sounds annoying

Looks a little different then a standard pipe to me. Mine only started to flake an rust when some lady crashed into the back of me and made me come off droping my bike an made a small dent il take a few pics of my pipe tomorrow and see if u guys think its the same

I have one of these and a dep, to be honest apart from the sound there is no diffrence between them
yes the laquer is poo and does rust on the no brand jobi is also very light in weight very tinny sound

i have just bought one from M&P for £94 delivered it says its non restricted i bought it as a replacement for my gutted standard exhaust so i can give a good verdict on the pipe as to whether or not it performs the same as a gutted standard one

I must admit i was pleasently suprised its almost the same as my gutted standard pipe but with a bit more topend pull the power comes in about 6500 rpm stops about 10800 rpm looks ok on the bike aswell i,m just tarting my dtr up at the minute ready to sell as i have my eye on a husqvarna wre 125

that happend to me with a sv650 spend about a hour on the phone talking to him my dads mate planing it all then found out 2 weeks later he sold it the next day and dident tell me its well gutting

Its harsh i was definatly looking forward to getting it and upgrading it there is so many off the shelf upgrades for them they even sound quite nice with standard pipes on still i will keep looking

Techno pipes are ****in ****, Arrow front pipe and big one end can all the way, best combo you can get
