It goes both ways.... What way 1st? Was looking on the net earlier and most say anti clockwise but found 1 or 2 that say they can go either. Basically I turned the valve so it had no bottom end but loads at 7000rpm but it was doing my head in so put it back but now it's got loads of bottom end but the power band don't seem to be to great. Anybody In or around derby fancy setting it up for a price?
I live in Barnsley so abit of a hike, especially in this weather..
Some basic instructions are: Take exhaust off Slacken cables Finger up into cylinder through the exhaust port Adjust cables until powervalve feels flush with the rest of the cylinder Re-tighten cables and double check to make sure it's in position (be sure not to over-tighten the cables) Re-fit exhaust Job Done Test ride Come back and let us know how it went..?
Needless to say, don't turn the ignition on or kick the bike over while having your fingers inside the exhaust port
i think its best to have it turn anticlockwise 1st i tried the other way clockwise to anticlockwise but if your out by a bit on the adjustment it can catch the piston as i found out TWICE one mashed piston the other time it just nipped the rings jammed em in
im finding just minor cable adjustmet back or forward ,within the two lines either side of the p/v locating hole under the cover works well for atering performance.
derby aint to far from stone stafford are yya m8
