Either saw a groove in and use a flathead driver to get it off or drill it out. Any garage will do either of the tow for you .

i never what to see anything but hex head or allen head bolts on bikesmile

try impact driver

i chewed up a few but got a rachet with a philips socket on it, gave it a few wacks with a mallet then used the rachet to undo it

Same happened to me when I replaced mine to stainless bolts, i got a flat head that was just a bit too big, whacked it with a hammer to ram it in then unscrewed it. Seemed to work quite a few times

Question - when Yamaha got all their parts together for the DT's did they just go out and buy the cheapest, sh**tiest bolts they could find? (It's not just Yamaha either)

Every time I've worked on a standard engine I've had this problem and it's a right f**king pain !!! furiousfuriousfurious

Chisel a notch in the outside of the screw, tap it round with a flat head screwdriver to loosen it then it should come out the rest of the way i posidrive. You could also use an impact driver.

Once you get it out bin it and replace with a decent hex head screw.

If they used better quality parts then all it would cost more on a whole.
