HAHA CARL! You sneaky bugger ;) thought you'd been busy! Making my bike a sister bike eh? Love it mate, top job! What have you used for the paint mate? Did you powder the tank aswell or use the same stuff as the pannels?

Seanyftw,

Frames shot blasted and powder coated are £70,he blasted my swingarm also,they look nice when took down to the metal.They do a good job and they are local so i dont have courier charges

 
 

Energized,

Hows things buddy,the spray paint for the plastics ive changed to Plasticote,i used plastic primer aswell.The tank was powder coated mate this time,but the f**kers filled my tank with shot blast,durr

ahh right all good mate how're you? ive just replaced all plastics with newer ones so the white colour is brighter than any paint you can get i found this out after painting my tank so the tank looks paler, im going to have to just paint all my palstics the same colour as tank to get it matching thats all :) just a shame theres no white bright enough!

ahh cheers mate i could try that out and if it still doesnt match use it for everything and redo the swinger,forks,pillions,pannels!

powder coats the ways forward, i do anything i can with it, cars ,pushbikes ,the lot, and custom colours,

Same here,i like the oven cured type the hot paint runs in all the nooks and crannys,its a bit annoying when bolt holes need opening up with the thick paint.

Definately better than spray paint and sometimes cheaper.

Sounds cool to be honest, what company did you use? Links etc?

My frame and swingarm could do with it to be honest there's some rust spots and chipped paint around it lol. plus i think it would look better in a different colour :P

Wouldnt advise the swingarm to be oven baked.The rust is no problem,the shot blast takes it right down to the bare metal.

The bloke i use doesnt have a web site,hes a friend i know with a small company.
