Last year two scummers from Hesters way in Cheltenham stole my bike (And yes i know who they were, but police wouldn't give a **** even if i said who it was). In just under 24 hours they managed to smash up my pride and joy. Can't ride to save their lives.
So anyway I'm a student and over the last 9 months ive slowly been replacing and repairing the bike. I've already restored the mechanical parts. Have had them done within a month of the bike getting nicked. Now i'm just struggling to find some asthetics for the bike.
I've checked the useful links forum but I haven't been able to locate what I want.
Does anyone know where I can get a headlight lense for my Dt125 re 04 plate? Searched everywhere and just can't find one. Well I tell i lie but to be fair I don't want to pay £100 for a friggin headlight.
Would it be worth buying an after market enduro headlight even though the mudguard and other stuff will be left standard?
What would you reccomend? If enduro what is the best looking? Best price? Best Value?
Yeah i saw that one and thats tempting. Problem is is that I'm a student and don't have a lot of money to spend on it. I reckon that one might bid quite high and then for a little bit more i could have a brand spanking new one from a dealer. I've already bought, New renthal bars, mirrors, Mitaka piston, rings, small end bearings. Renthal chain and sprockets. Rear swing arm bushes. New front wheel. The list goes on.
I think that one there is my best bet so thanks. I just wanted a cheap temporary solution until I got some more money coming through. But nevermind.
Yeah that spot on. It's is only a tempory solution just so I can put it through an MOT and start joyriding it again. Well Continue to joy ride it just without looking over my shoulder every five seconds looking for gavers. lol. Well you know what I mean i don't want to lose my license.
Yeah well thankfully they didn't torch it. My plan is to restore it back to factory (bar restrictions). Then buy after market products. So when I go to sell it, it will look fresh.
