need a rebore and piston supplied whos best ????

need a rebore and piston supplied, whos best ???? just found my piston is beat and cracked to f##k, any one know the best places for it to be rebored with a piston supplied (Only people have had it down please!!!)

i get my piston from yam dealer then take my barrel with new piston to my local engineering firm milbore u might be able to send it to them but might not be cost effective

what about these services that offer a rebore and a piston too fit and they supply the piston ?

hes does a good job and i can drop and collect same day some times if im in the area cant beet the price either"

yeah man sweet as nut couldnt be happier shes back in and running well it was left ticking over just just under half hour but so far so good :)

when i ran mine in i closed the pv to start with juist so u cant get in in the band even if ya tryed then after a week i oped it up n kept crusing as i did for just ova 3 weeks then opened it up n felt like i was on a crosser lol

was there alot of diffrence after your rebore and were mines pinned open non sevo 1990 iv i closed it i think the piston would wack the pv lol so kept it open just cant get throttle happy lol

well i changed my piston twice when i first gt mine due to not reboring then had it rebored to 57mm and it pulls like a train now wheelys nice and i think there is a noticable difference when ya fit a bigger piston

yeahh the mistake of not getting the rebore is the worst i went from standard to 58.9mm so im hope for a diffrence lol

big diff in size lol can you get a bigger rebore after that i would of gone up in stages just in case it goes bang n needs boring again youll have to find anuva barell then

thats the thing i have 2 barrel hence me trying the biggest one the guy could do just cant wait till after the run in lol

the bigger piston makes no difference really the size increase is so small a couple of thou

the reason it feels better is becasue there is basicaly a new engine and it will make more power due to the tight tolerences, soon as it wears down after a few thou miles the performance will drop due to the loss of compression

yeah you would mate, just depends on how its used/run in/and looked after, cheap 2 stroke can wreck an engine in no time, same with air filter

but like us the minute were born were dieing lol

same with engines soon as there starting there wearing out, its the maintanace and usage that makes all the difference in the long run

The way you run your engine in will reflect in its performance and life spame, its so hard around where i live in devon as the hills are massive lol
