it has to have a decent bit ov tension on it to return, but theres another spring at the back pushing the mechanism back on the splines, have you had a look at that spring aswell

id just whip all the mechanism out and have a look at it, somets not right

Yea they can be a bugger, little tip when you get the spring and the lug clip thingy in place and u think u got it put side case back on with 2 or 3 screws then give it a few good kicks as they have a nasty habbit of slipping again lol

oooww play in wat direction??? up n down is bad...real bad, in and out i spose is ok but not alot check out my build thread in my sig, at the start theres a pic of the inner case wer it has cracked, that crack is around the clutch basket shaft bearing or input shaft bearing wat ever u wanna call it lol and that caused major problems lol i got rid of tht engine as it needed a new crank case....long

u might be a bit more lucky..well i say lucky u might have to completely strip the engine split the cases n replace that bearing, have a closer look at it m8 take the clutch basket off n tell me wat u see

looks like the clip thing on the gear is missing got any better pics?

thts prob why u have to lean the bike to get it to engage coz theres nothing to make the gear move along the shaft to engage with the idler gear
