Right this is where i dont get it regarding the male and female connectors lol
I have only the bits in the picture i posted up therefore i dont understand the difference between a male and female connector, is D the male and if so what's the female?? lol
"O.K get c and take the metal piece out of the silicon sleeve", coming back to this there was no metal piece inside of the C sleeve, if that helps??
K no probs it looked like there was a connector inside from the pic, right then you've got 'D' the male now you need the single female, which looks like the double female, 'F' but only single,
Fair enough then you'll need more female bullets then, but to get you mobile, substitute the single female for the double, like I say it'll get your bike started.
yeah don't see why not, thanks mate for your help, top man, if only i had of realised the differences beforehand; thats the only thing which i didnt understand which stopped me doing it in the first place lol
actually coming to think about it, i would of still needed your help to actually do it correctly, im giving it a go now, ill let you know once iv'e done it :D
So fricking annoyed lol, fitted the bullet connector correctly and now theres electrical problems. it wont start probably becasue of a low battery but it doesnt help that now it does the powervalve cycle everytime you press a button on the handlebars.... it must be playing around with it which has probably disconnected another wire or something but im too tired and lack of knowledge to sort it out now.. ill try getting my mate to figure it out with me Cant be the way i done the connector as i tried without it and it did the same thing, when you put high beam on the indercators and powervalve does it cycle lol, argh :/ but even when you press the horn it doesnt work jus does the powervalve cycle, anyone had the same problem after fiddling with the electrics??
Another school boy error lol, I must have not turned off the indicator when i switched it off therefore it would of looked as if the indicators came on after i turned the ignition on to see if it did the same with high beam lol..
But anyway me and my mate went halves on a battery charger seeing as mine kept dieing out when i leave it for a week or so, so i charged mi battery up and it solved problem lol; lesson learnt = powervalve repeats it cycle when having a flat battery aftet pressing buttons/switches therefore dont worry and jus charge the battery or bump the beasty bike aha
