2002 stator in 1991 loom

Alright guys this is probes a stupid question but can I use the 2002 stator with the 1991 loom and cdi. The wires are the same on the same plugs but have different connectors, so can I just chop the plugs and solder the others on? i used a 2003 stator in a 1990 loom no problems mate

well i bought th staor with connectors cut off so i used the old ones and connected it up

Ok kl I'll just chop my old ones off and solder them onto my new one cheers
