i wondered what seals the outer edge of the water jacket as theres only one o ring on the inner edge and no groove or oring on the outer edge

hmm

Theres a pressed metal head gasket that seals between them, id imagine that o-ring is only in the inside as extra protection to stop the highly compressed fuel/air mix being forced into the coolant, whereas on the outside edge there not much pressure.

i translated the text beneath in google translate. they seem to be bragging pretty hard about it.

But the question is if the crank and rod can take it ?

yamaha used the same design with the tzr sp but thats a heavily tuned 125

the o ring is for the high comp and stops you blowing a gasket

This gave me an idea, The athena 170cc i have can probaobly be rebored and fitted with a piston from this kit.

If i ever need to rebore it . I havent seen any oversized pistons for this kit from athena so ..

Im really wondering how the porting is done on this kit.

If i had the money i would get it. I imagine it would be quite a power boost with a bigger carb lol.

Keep the original clocks just so you can laugh whenever it tops out :D

Damn that sounds amazing. But its not that smart to spend that much money on a cyllinder and get it to the last oversize. Its proboably gonna last. But what if it seizes. Its proboably not gonna be that much of a difference anyways.
