Must be someone close by you Norfe, like Bradders says they've obviously been keeping an eye on it,to know it's started up, or can maybe hear it starting up from where they live, you said you took it for a blast just to test it out, then re-trace the route you took, keeping an eye out for a house thats got kids congregating around it, or even a couple of bikes outside the house.

Another thing to do is nip round all the local petrol stations, ansd ask them to keep an eye out for lads coming in with gallon can petrol containers, they'll be on cctv too, they ain't that clever, they'll drop a bollock somewhere along the line.

furious SO WENT TO TAKE A NAPPY OUT TO THE BIN THIS MORNING & SAW BIN WAS OPEN AND MY BATTERY DRILL BOX & new torque wrench ON THE FLOOR......,got that horrible feeling inside and looked up the garden at the garage doors wide open with an empty bike lift

felt like dropping to my knees all that blood swet and ear ake off the mrs and money spent GONE

I HAD A GOOD LOOK ROUND YEATERDAY ASWELL DRIVING HOME AS I ALWAYS DO

BUT WE ALL NO IF THEY WANT SUMET THEY WILL GET IT IN THE END, ALL 3 PADLOCKS MISSING OF THE DOOR AND CHAIN

BIKES BACK LIGHT LENSE ON FLOOR OUTSIDE GARAGE

ALL DRAWS OPEN SO THEV HAD A GOOD RUMMAGE CHEEKY FKERS

AND ME NEW BATTERY IMPACT GUN & GRINDER SET PROPER WOUNDED

GONNA GO TO WORK NOW AND STRESS OUT ALL DAY,BEEN ON PHONE WITH POLICE AND THERE COMING AT T TIME

CANT SEE IT GETTING RETURNED EITHER AS SOME BUNCH OF BENEFIT SCROUNGIN CHAVVY ****S WILL BE FRASHIN IT TO BITS PROPER TAKES THE PISS furious

Unlucky to hear that mate, it's a small world tho so im pretty sure you will run into the little scumbags at some point just savour that feeling mate!

**** sakes thats real bad Norfe mate, get yersen round all the local parks, wasteland see if its been dumped somewhere, usually that can be the case mate, and more often than not, some chancer comes across the 'find' then takes it home, then you'll never find it, sorry to hear it bud, but fingers crossed it'll turn up.
Oh aye get yersen round all the local motorbike shops and leave a contact number with them, just in case the scum try and get any parts for it.

ffs, really sorry to hear that man especially after all the hard work you just put in. As said hopefully it turns up sooner than later but what a set of lowlifes

Keep an eye out for any new 'field' bikes popping up on Gumtree or Ebay

Or any parts that are obviously yours - then arrange to 'buy' them with a handful of mates. No need to bother the police.

been on to insurance just now waiting for calls back now, is any one with AVIVA??

how are they at dealing with things what sort of time frame am i lookin at if the bike int recovered?

wev had a car stolen in the past and got it back and it dint feel right at all noing some one had had there grubby hands on it and done what ever in it,

will have to wait and see what the police have to say tonight, it will probly a 20 year old green horne in a uniform with the little man syndrome,,,u no the type that got bullied at school ha ha to many of them about these days

im not gonna get me hopes up it will probly be a different colour now covered in halfords airosol black or sumets

Has there been anyone (apart from me) that's added you on Facebook recently?? Just an idea as they may be watching what ur doin there aswell.....

Ive had two very determined attempts on my back gate in the last couple of years they was defintatly after the dtr as that was the only thing i had of any value in my garden. They could not get past the gate though as have a few huge bolts and padlocks on it i also put chemical metal over all the screw heads and coach bolts for added difficulty. When my husky turns up on saturday i will strengthen it further and get a decent alrm fitted to the bike probably get a couple of disc lock alarms for good measure.

Theres a certain spot in hell for those who steals dts.

Im crossing my fingers for you finding your bike, And in a decent condition.. Dont think anyone will just dump it somewhere since its that nice. But maybe youll lucky enough to spot them driving around with it.

Lets not hope their splitting it up to sell it ..

But if they are, lets hope they try to sell it here :) xD

Couldnt believe it when i read what had happen norfe, after all that time and effort you put into it, lets jus' hope you get it back or if worst comes to worse that your insurance company pays out the money you spent on it :)

I feel like putting traps what will properly harm the F**kers where my bike is kept... but like ya say your lose more out of it when the scumbag sues ya'

But yeah act as quick as you can, check the gardens of local bike theives in the area if ya know any and ask around, theres bound for an outsider to have been told about it

I'm gutted for ya mate, I was so depressed when mine got nicked, kept looking at the photos of it, every1 told me that it's someone you know?? I was lucky and did get it back but it was shagged, not what you want to hear really.
