so i bought a dt 125 from local scrappy stolen recoverd all wiring been butcherd so im gna turn it into a crosser it starts up on kick start all works perfect even the kill switch works

 

but theres no battery and the looms been cut where the battery usualy is

so my question is there anywher i can wire up the power valve servo that will make it work once ive kicked the bike up or will it need a battery ??

 

any help apreciated thanks

im thinking u need a battery as the servo does a cleaning cycle when the ign gets turned on taking power of the battery, but im not sure if the servo will work or not when the engines running producing its own juice if u get me

best way is to get a servo and connect it up and try it mate, putting a battery in is nowt any way only need to connect an inline fuse and red& black wires to the battery

what from the servo jus connect red and black from servo to battery ide be putting a switch in as well lol

i had a offroad dt and when i turned the key nout happend as there was no battrey but if u take the powervalve side caseing off and rev it up mine turned so it still worked no idear of wireing had been messed with thou

i ran my offroader for a bit with a servo an no loom wired the servo direct to a battery i put in. but it was a pain in the ass cos you had to remember to disconnect it or the batt was dead the next day , an back in the charger
