Squeeky rear suspension

Ive suddenly got a really annoying rear suspension squeek. It seems to be from the spring, but Im not too sure .I,ve spent ages trying to find exactley where its from and it,s doing my head in now!. If I sit on or put any pressure on the seat you hear the squeek, the more you push down, the more it squeeks. As it comes up again it squeeks GGRRR, anyone else had a this? Seems crazy but I just can,t pin point it . furious

Rear swing arm bushes mate.

There is a grease nipple on the bottom of the shock. You could greese that up using a grease gun.

I've got the same problem.

So has a lot of other people I know lol.

Did you find the grease nipples?

If that doesn't do it then I believe you will need to replace the rear swing arm bushes. It's just maintenance.

spray a bit of wd40 on the rod that goes in the shock ; ) if the noise is coming from the bush or baring area then it sounds like you gotta strip out the pivot areas n give it a good clean or replace the innerds but do what i said ^ and grease the nips too that should stop it no probs

I greesed two of the nipples on the left side, but the one I really need to get to I can,t lol without stripping of everything (no access to it) which I guess I.ll have to do. I'll do what you said Bradders with the wd40 but reckon it's gonna be stripping stuff down and replacing stuff. Routine maintanence I guess just  like you said! anyway guys thanks for the posts, I'll let you know how I get on.

Ooo! You sprayed the shock? I don't thinknyour suppose to do that. If it's the shock then it probably needs replacing.
