Yeah I may as well tell you guys, me and brad met up with some lads from the glc on Saturday. 11 of us in total hitting the local green lanes, think we covered 84miles - well not me unfortunately.
Bit hard to explain but Going through this 1st lane we took brad was up near the front and I was probably in the middle of the pack, I lost control of the bike and tried to keep it but the front end was slipping out then dug in to the mud chucking me over the handle bars, barrel roll into a tree. Twisted the bars and scuffed the front right rad scoop that was all, proper winded me though, I still ache.
The bike seemed to be overheating, brads was reading somewhere in the 60's whilst mine was up to 100, it was getting higher so we headed for a petrol station but we was in the sticks, I was getting desperate, bike started to read up in the 180's then it happened. I looked behind me and saw no1, just a thick cloud of smoke.
People with the vapour will no what I mean but for those who don't, the temp sensor that comes with it requires you to cut the coolant hose fit the sensor in and jubilee clip the hose back on either side. The plastic housing for the sensor had melted bursting the pipe and thus ending my day. I am gutted. It has made a right royal mess putting coolant everywhere you can imagine on the the engine.
Now trying to determin why it's overheating.
All in all I did have a great day, even if I did have a hard fall and brea the bike I still enjoyed it and will be dong it again (after brad gives me some lessons aswell)
wish u bastards would of told me i would of come lol been on glc for a wile just neaver wanted to ride over to luton for a ride without knowing anyone lol
