petrol pouring out of the overflow pipe on carb

i have tried tappin the float bowl with the handle end of the screwdriver to try a free up the float incase its stuck but its still doing it it only does it when the bike is lent over on the stand as soon as you lift the bike up straight it stops can anyone help

take the fuel pipe off with the carb drained of fuel and if uv got a compressor blow down the fuel inlet, i had a spec of muk in mine and wouldnt seal so just kept filling

Thats good i can do that at work tomorrow if its still doing it though after this what else do think it could be thanks

well if its only just started to do it it must be some crap in the fuel valve seat , the floats cant adjust them selfs in there so id say this is ur problem, it was a small piece of grit in mine  the valve seat is rubber so just stays open mate

if u get chance just loosen all the carb and take the float bowl off in situ, take the floats out and the needle valve and y=give it a good blow out and the rubber end a wipe
