To Start:

Removed Dep Sticker With Heat Gun
------------------------------------------------------------------
Prep: Wet n Dry

Sanded Rough pitting with 400 Wet N Dry
Smoothed out Ally Surface using Grades of Wet n Dry 600/800/1000

------------------------------------------------------------------
Polish: 6in Bench Grinder/ Conveted Polisher

Stage 1, first cut (Light) course Compound Polish  (Grey)
Stage 2, Medium compound Polish (Brown)
Stage 3, Finnishing compound (White)
Stage 4, Cleaned with Vienna Lime. (Used for removing polishing compound residues)

Total Time: 2 Hours Approx

Haha cheers nev, must be about 6 years old that pipe if not more. Shows how looking after your chrome pays off, always polished when needed, never any rust or dulling! biggrin

Just had the whole system off for the build up and re-pimp, so thought i'd polish everything up again. wink

My opinion ofcourse, but always go with autosol, always. Tried various other options over the years and nothing beats the finish of Autosol IMO.

Well aye, Autosol is good, but a fair bit dearer than T-Cut, I always use lashings of that, then sheepskin buffer on drill for mine.

Something I don't understand mind you, is why they don't come like that when new, instead of the brushed aluminium look you get from DEP.

Yeah that's left me in a pickle too Nevwind haha, strange some of these maufacturers...confuse

And aye it's pricey but you only have to use it sparingly biggrin I do go mad sometimes with it though on the 'ol xpanny
