Not bad.

Has it still got the Rotax 122 engine in?

Mine is just stupidly quick! The powerband on it is immense!

The little tank inside a big tank is a bit of a joke. high maintenance and parts aint the cheapest either are they. Realibilty is abit questionable but all that set aside they are a nice 125 and high BHP is definately an incentive for the younger HP hunter out there, The bike handling is superb even the braking system sets high standards and I would say for anyone who wants to start on the superbikes ladder it is a great step before jumping onto a bigger superbike. I would say stick with the old models because they are not as resticted by emissions laws.

The best sports bike for coolness that ive found is the mito its an animal, had 120mph out of my old one brembo brakes, mazzi forks and a nice strong motor, SHAME ABOUT THE ELECTRIS THO! but agree the rs is a nice bike ive had 3 so far and are more reliable and trouble fee, had a nsr aswell slower but far more bullet prof still got 115mph out of it tho lol

No rattles. It's running 160cc polini kit now so it's propa rapid! As for the frame snapping did you ever thing that it was cause you got hit by a van!! FFS if my dt got hit by a van it would snap into two.

i work with a lad his dad bought him an rs50 brand new and it blew up in 6 months. took it back to get the work done under waranty and tha told him the engine isnt under warantey . and piston and barel was £300 plus 4 hours labour at £45 hour. but then went bust so he had topick his bike up in a van in bits. 2 weeks ago he got it fixed ran it in like the garage said over the weekend and it blew up again on the monday afler the service. so now he just got it bk 3rd time . i think ill stick to my yamaha.

Well you mate's a fecking idiot then isn't he. I've owned a 3 year old Aprilia RS50 and didn't have any problems.

My mate RAMPS THE F>CK OUT OF HIS RS and no problems. Plus the new RS's run derbi parts in them. If you don't believe me when I say he ramps the fook out of it then check out my poor quality videos on youtube. He pins it everywhere. He slips the clutch. Does burn outs. Wheelies (well trys to). Jumps. Off roading on his bike. Bike's never missed a beat. Don't believe me check out these videos.

The bike was brand new and he never even bothered to run it it. Kids a spoilt brat. I mean he paid for the bike but he's spoilt anyway. He's also a mechanic so doesn't give a fook if it breaks down cause he'll fix it.

I seriously don't know how you blow up those aprilias unless you dont use decent oil, which my mate always uses £20 a bottle oil.

Check these videos if you don't believe me:

He bought in 2010 before the new plates.

i dont know how it blew up it just did. and he uses good 2t oil as well but i just think it is a littel bit odd that a new bike would go pop so soon. and the funy thing is he keeps telling me i should sell all my bikes and buy 1 good 1. but all mine still run even tho thay are all old.
