Are your indicators standard? I think some aftermarket ones need some kind of modification to work, someone else on here might know more about that though..
You could try have a play with the connectors while they are switched on if you haven't already, when i was fitting arrow indicators on mine they acted a bit random at first, like 3 flashing at the same time etc.. had to make sure they were all in there good and tight. Once that was sorted they worked fine, with the engine off that is
In the front I was using indicators from another bike for the inspection (LED are not legal here and won't pass inspection), anyways those indicators had 10w lightbulbs, after switching to 21 watters i'm in business.
