A new problem to ad to my never ending list, haha. Torquing up the drain screw and it just keeps on turning...drip drip..drip drip.. ha

Anyone else had this problem? I was thinking of trying one of them heli coil kits off ebay, but not sure if it would keep things water tight. Or will i need a whole new clutch cover?

Any ideas for a quick fix to keep me on the road would be appreciated too

helicoil kit will be fine buy this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25-Piece-Thread-Repair-Kit-M6-x-1-0-x-8-0mm-Helicoil-Type-Hard-Case-NEW-/230704519834?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35b70f9a9a#ht_1766wt_1270

i use this kit in m6,m8,m10 & 12

DO NOT BUY THE BRAND NAME SETS, ITS ALL EXACTLY THE SAME INTURNALS FOR DOUBLE THE PRICE MATE !!!

these work fine no problem

put a small copper washer on the new bolt and thread lock it in, no way u should be stripping the threads if your doing them to the correct setting lol

unluess the case is rotton that is

if its stripped the m6 thread out, thes nothing to tap pal, cant go up to m8 coz not enough around it

a die is what u cut threads on to a bar with mate

tap

die

helicoil is the only way round it unless the hole is filled with alloy weld and then re-drilled/tapped
