Clutch has gone and sorting out the vibration I was getting which turned out to be a loose crank gear.

had the DEP and Big one sand blasted as I was going to repaint it as its previous paint job was shocking!... but on removing it from the bike it was obviously it had been bent at some point and some muppet had 'tryed' to patch it up... using a stick welder. The blasting then uncovered all the holes and cracks on the chamber and the pipe to the rear silencer... great. The blueing is from riding it home lol

Ive also purchased a 17" rim to be laced onto the TDR front hub but probably wont get round to doing that for a while, but when I do the 18" will be up for sale with the tyre :)

Clutch has gone!! What sort of mileage and i've never heard that on a dt before lol. I mean yes everything has it's time but i literally built my clutch wrong. Ragged it about for a week slipping too fuc,k! and it's still in great condition.

I think the clutch on DTR's will outlive the all of the other components on the rest of the bike!
I've bought countless field bikes (DTR's included) That after a service have been fine afterwards
Okay I tell a lie, I bought a DR400 (1981) and the clutch was slipping, on further inspection one of the springs had broke..
I replaced the set and it was fine afterwards (was hard to pull the clutch in though as I bought heavy duty springs doh)

Could be 28k as thats what the bikes on, previous owner didnt mention a clutch change when I purchased it. The plates and springs are both under tolerance tbh.
