Good to hear that, Im just looking for a summer toy which loves a thrashing and corning! I know enny likes a thrashing as he's kinky like that and my dizzer likes corners, i just need more power! Plus insurance is cheap :D

would be better geting a sv 650 more grunt being a v twin and insureance is probly lower then a grey import like most 400's its the same price for me to insure a bandit 600 and my dads bandit 400 how does that work =0

yeah MDK im feel the same on the style of bikes but when it comes to more power and speed then it's nice to have if need.. not that ud be able to use faster then 80mph on todays roads.. but as for off road bikes what dose the CC matter as they all mostly top out at 80/90??

Hmm i won't be able to get insurance for a 600 for a few years yet also this cbr 400 isn't the grey import! The sv looks hideous unless you get a full fairing for it, I've heard the viffer engine is about absolute a-hole to work on which was why i was straying towards the baby blade! But the viffers single sided swinger looks the nuts!

supose you thinking is sound if after a good solid bike that will take a beating the cbr 400 will take some abuse and keep on going not a bad looking little pocket rocket also with loads of parts and spares always around you can even pick up cheap cbr 400 for £500 range
such as this one my mate has on the back yard it was for sale at £500 all be it he has never started it or got any paperwork.
but he bought it of a house clearance guy just as it was cheap can get more info if your intrested but would suggest a hpi check .
I know it sounds dodgy but he buys loads of bikes and has a garden yard full of em and he is a little lazy when it comes to spending on a new v5 -hpi-ect
