ancient post I know, a mate linked me to this cus he found it searching something or other about me online lol, don't fear bradders I still have the ole beastie the winning bidder never turned up, had to make space as was moving but found it somewhere to lurk in the end! shes now sitting pretty with a kx front end and currently getting a rd350ypvs engine wedged in there for good kick up the rear ;)

only popped on for a bit since bradders post made me laugh! and having a quick browse. you've probs seen a dt with a rd 350 motor theres a few pics of them knocking about on the net so i'm sure you guys can picture it, like that just instead of just welding in the rd engine cradle making one to fit to the dt down tube so i can make a high level spannie for both sides so its still a propper dirt bike. I'd hate to offend callums eyes with more pictures ;) so yeah before i go to far and get my IP addy blocked again less time typing=more time welding, i'll chuck up a piccy when its done,
ride safe guys

Hey when I made that post I was just a dtr newbie!

I've done a lot of growing up now and have come to appreciate dt's in whatever shape they come in. Be nice to see a project thread!

if only it just took a phone call to change that...when i pay out for insurance i always find it useful to actually cover me if i crashed, i have a full license and 5 years+ no claims so doesn't cost me naff all

the problem was timewasters bidding on their mothers accounts who found out their parents wouldn't give them a lift to come get it, knew it doesn't have great value anyway being on a q plate hense i didn't bother replacing the lense on the light and listed a bike with a fresh motor/shock etc with tax and mot as spares/repairs, probably will get the same money selling all the dt parts i wont need with the new engine. i could have put a bit more effort in with the pics on the listing dunno how i made it look so anorexic lol
