probs need to change cdi and new stator, not normaly that straight forward unless you have the engine and full electrics

Could cost a fairbit else

 

Ive seen a dtr engine in a wr so should fit

can possibly get a wr 200 full engine, would this bolt straight into the dt frame by any chance?

theres a wr200 being broken on egay, i didnt buy a whole engine cuz im worried the electrics wont wire up. and since most of the bottom end is the same as the dt i thought i would just moddify it to fit the barrel

the mounts are all the same excect the head mount,

join the 200 clubwink

also got to get a fmf pipe because it wont run well with your dep, also a bigger carb

Yep

Im thinking about puttin a ktm 300 in my dt and the dt in the ktm lol

Can get around not havin a full licance then

Only probs it the ktm is much bigger than a dt so would be underpowerd but then the dt would be a rocket lol

till u get pulled and they impound bike and then do you for insurance fraud lol

trust me it happens

specially if its a bike cop wot pulls you and says ah dtr 125....how come it says 299 cc on the barrel????

pooop points, stress fines, to much hassle

I kno lol would be a fun project but would be hard to come to terms with taking the heart out of the ktm as its such a nice machine

hah i known people who put rd350 barrels on the 250, and just file the numbers off , thats what i did yesterday on my 200 barrel

Ther was a dtr wiv wr200 lump on ebay couple weeks ago so cnt b 2 hard. Did u manage to fit wr to dt dtr bottom end? Let me no cos wud b intrsted as wud b cheaper than an athena kit
