just thought i would put a few pics up of my pride and joy,year 2000 with athena 170cc big bore kit,18/55 gearing,gold chain,renthal bars,pirelli scorpion rear tyre,dunlop trailmax front,powdercoated frame,swing arm and fork lowers,the wheels are hand painted in matt black as they were in need of a refurb so i had nothing to lose,and i must say the outcome was alot better than i expected but we will see how long it lasts...,2010 yzf front fender,hpires rear,tail tidy,carbon fibre vinyl number boards,polisport front headlight,full dep with polished end can,next on the list is full stainless bolt kit,no bad for a 42 year old grandad reliving his youth lol..

looking very tidy fella like the shopping bag on the back lol. could do with some angled rear panels to finish off its smart new look but nice bike m8

lol yeah,its just a bum bag which i use to keep a spare plug and tools in,saves carrying them,i have thought about cutting the side panels down but still a bit unsure at the moment

iv always got all my tools for the whole bike stripdown in my backpack an  iv been know to carry a whole top end piston  an a bottle of water before

bit of a worrier me haha

i wouldnt go cutting those panels you have incase your not happy with the results, maybe try an pick up a cheap set  of rears off one of the lads on here

to right althou supose if you fancied the cut downs you could buy some realy cheap ratty ones cut them down /spray them ect and try them for a while to seee how they look and feel ?

but for me the standard look dt.r is why I love them so much and althou some of the moded ones look nice its just not for me
