The powervalve is set up pefectly tryd it every position n it alighnd properly even pegd it 2 c if it was that n it was even slower sumfing crnt b right fink its electrics maself. Yes ive desnorkld changd plug 3 tyms on an iridium nw changd I had to rejet to 270 coz she wear runing lean on a 250 plug was white n tip bt dnt no y cz I live up in hils n suposd to be smaler jets in higher altitude. I apreiciat tha help lads jus winds me up av spent 3 munths tryna sort it out costin me al tha tym cum it b a top end compresion problem u fink cz wit ma misfiring problem wen a rev hard in dark n look at plug theres a blue glow around wer it screws in witch glows mur the mure a rev itsgt 3 mechanics in ma area stumped and myself

Wouldnt really want to be doing more than 70 on it, my DTX had a bit of head wobble at that sort of speed, yeah the engine can handle it but it's very unstable, if you want speed get a superbike, simples.

it might be the cdi i dont really know about cdi's to be honnest i think it needs to be from the same year as they changed the connections i think im not to sure about cdi's at all mate

No it hits powerband fine a quick surge then strugles have to change at 8rpm misfires after that fink thats the main problem where is the stator m8 could b that over the coil av traced the wire but gos into loom
not that one m8 there should be a wire down by where you attach the clutch cable coming out of the top of the bottom engine block thats the pick up wire.
What does the pick up wire and sender do exactly could that b sumat to do with the blue ring im geting around plug n y has no1 herd of ths done hours of googlein n finding nufin abwt it

hahaha... Don't worry about them mate they just having a laugh at your expence. here il try and help you out here Check List: compression test kit on ebay £10 or so should be 125PSI. Make sure the YPVS is working like turning the key on to hear noise. make sure you expanny is not lose. Take topend off look in the barrel for ware and look at piston and rings. buy a topend gasket set before hand on taking the topend off.
Clutch is loose if ewt pal misfiring is the main problem when I hit 8rpm it feels lyk av ran outa fuel it that bad its gota b electrical al try new coil n cdi at weekend see how that goes
