Iv recently been out quite a bit on my dt with mates but one night i come off it :/ then it started fine and about 10 mins after wouldnt start again left it at a mates and he changed the spark plug and then started fine but i was running an iridium spark plug and he put a normal one in it now and the same thing has happened :/ wanted to know why its eating up the plugs so quick 

Also few months back done quite alot of miles in one night was about 60 miles from home :( and the bike decides to mess up on me was just going along then all of a sudden in every gear the bike was making a grinding noise and lost alot of power in every gear but i just left it for a day started it and it made the same noise then next day was absolutly fine and hasnt done it since no idea what was up with it

pull the magnito rotor off and check the key way(wudruff key) and stator
if some things moved or come loose it will grind and nock the timing out causing irratic running and grinding noises

have a look around the clutch see if nothings come loose and catching
either way i wunt be running it untill youv had a good strip and look to see whats causing all the problems or u may do irepairable damage

CHECK FOR LOOSE items/look for metal shavings

inspect and check for any moove ment on these 2

check the crank key way and wudruff key

number 17 and the keyway it sits in

every fing u need to no how to get to all these parts and check them is in the haynes
