Crackin mate just like mine and nev's braking power now he he! You'll need to get used to it for sure mate, literally 1 finger on the front brake gently pull and the response is immense, easily do 2 finger stoppies with the big break. Btw, make sure your bracket for the mounting is thick enough mate, otherwise it'll bend/warp and your front brake will stick and you can lock it up in a pot hole etc.

yes it would be do able on std setup

iv got an 8mm plate cut/drilled shaped and bolted to the hub

then the rs disc bolted to that

the bracket will also be 8mm steel

so will be plenty strong enuf last ones i made out of 5mm plate and they were fine

am pleased with it tho  biggrin

cool, do you have standard forks so you can make a bracket? What caliper would be needed? An RS one?

Also would you need to change the lever etc or can you use the same one and just stick the brake line on the RS caliper. I'm not gonna do it just yet but it's definately a good idea lol. Would it be easy to bolt it all to the wheel/forks and get it all working if i got you do make the disc etc for me?

My list of tools consists of random selection of spanners (inc metric), don't have an 8mm or a 11mm, one pair of mole grips, random socket set with no socket wrench odd selection of bent or broken screwdrivers and couple of pair of pliers. To do something simple in your eyes i would have to be friggin macgyver lol.

Not to mention nowhere to actually do any work bar a car park 3 floors down. :(

lol

oh rite i get your point

best thing you can do is spend some money on tools mate best thing you can buy in my eyes

more tools you have the easier and faster you can do jobs

have you no friends and family who you can take over a garage

or find some old oap local who wants to let there garage space

me and a mate ended up renting a garage for £10 a month lol of 2 old bvlokes who lived near us biggrin
