I've seen this topic crop up quite alot recently so i'm wondering what you're opinions on the matter are?
Personally i think it's a load of B-S to be asked to remove you're helmet whilst filling up/paying, lets be honest once you're visor/goggle are flipped up you can see the majority of the face and yet they seem to find that intimidating?
i personally dont like keeping my helmet on when m not riding, gets hot after a while, never ride with my visor down either, is that just me? love having fresh air on my face haha
Same as, I got this helmet and with the goggles I cant see nearly half as much:
But yeah, every petrol station ive been two they've asked me to take my helmet off, on most occasions they turn off the pump until I take it off as recently theres been a lot of people riding off without paying

Lol I got some pratt of a customer telling me I should remove my helmet, whilst paying for fags at the till of our local village co-op the other week, I mean stood there with a £20 pound note in my hand surely isn't considered intimidating, plus he ended up with a quick "fook off" from me and a "tarra Nev" from the girl at the till. Now a high street bank on the other hand, now thats a different kettle of fish, lol.
hahaha nice one, tbh i'm lucky enough to not be asked in any of the petrol stations near me! end of the day it's gunna be easier if there's massive que's of traffic waiting for petrol if you leave the helmet on instead of taking it off/putting it on! take's the fizzle!

I like to call that the chav way of wearing the lid Toy hahahaha all the bellends on there hairdriers do that at college! i see what you mean tho about them getting eggy about it, i always take it off before going into a store/shop tho as its stupid walking around tesco with a helmet on?
i have no issue removing mine to make the staff fell safer. At the end of the day we are all dressed in big jackets, gloves and helmets. if i was an ass, id be dressed in the right gear for a fight and such.
im not an ass, and have only been asked once to pop off my lid. but tbh i take no offence, i just get well confused if the door to the garage stays locked and im like wtf how do i get in lol
Who on earth wants to be subject to a robbery or feel unsafe in there own work place? worse still who wants too feel unsafe and then find they are robbed and their company hold them responsible?
think id rather just ask people to remove there helmets if its a concern
evertried removing a DD clip when your fingers are numb in winter, it just doesnt work
Got some very weird looks at 2am back in Feb at Pycombe services dancing around in my helmet and gloves with my hands down my pants because my fingers where so frozen i was in mind numbing pain for 15 minutes. lol
