See if this guide helps, I'm pretty tall and with a dodgy back need higher bars to sit more upright, I went for the 997 Black Carmichael ones. Scroll down page for size chart

Yeah i would need it high as i like the upright position, just don't wanna get one that's uncomfortable lol. Spoke to the guy on the phone and he suggested maybe a 94x56 bend but he needed to know if the bottom bar clamp was moulded to the yoke and if not what pins etc would be needed to install the new clamp. Or if i would need a universal type deal to go on the old clamp to convert it to the fat bar size.

Don't suppose anyone knows this? Can't exactly check as bike is 80+ miles away at bradders's place lol :P

took me ages to decide on these ones steve. Got my heart set now they look the ****. The guy is as helpful as possible too and could easily sort you out. He said he has universal clamps that he can supply with the Easton ones so should be simple

Cheers nev, Brad sandblasted them then i used some plastikote gloss blask on them,

I tell you what in homebase they were selling 'frog tape' like masking tape only better, much better for masking and keeps straight lines as it should, easy to peel off after a couple of days of being stuck o, not like masking tape. Well worth it, i used it to keep the inside of the fork holes clear from paint and was really impressed.

Yours are black aswell arent they?

Yup, I've seen that frog tape but not used it yet, missus got me some blue masking tape from Asda I've used it recently, but probably get some of that frog tape for when I run out, if you reckon its the biz? that plasticote is decent stuff too, aye mine are black too.

No brace Bradders? btw Sean the Carmichael bend is the same bend as mine the 997 twin walls, yes Brad they are comfy but better with a brace, in my opinion anyroad.
