Do you think sentences for criminal offences are too lenient or too harsh?

This link gives you the chance to play judge. It also it may help & give you alittle more insight how Magistrates & Crown Courts weigh up things before they hand out sentences to certain crimes that they see fitting for that type of offence.

I agree mate sentences for criminal offences are too lenient these days. I don`t really want to disclose on here why I went to prison in the past but when I did back in the early eighties. I did association once a week where I was able to watch tv in a hall with other inmates I was locked up for 23hrs a day until i did a job sweeping up a bin area so I was able to get a shower every day I didn`t even have a flushable toilet it was a pee bowl that you and a cell mate had to pee & take a dump into. You don`t get it like this now in jail prisoners get more luxeries and freedom to do more activities in jail its much softer nowadays

Fúcking count yourself lucky you get anything. I don't see how if ou make someones life miserable why you should be looked upon like a life worth saving. I think Justice needs to be looked at more carefully. Doing things that make a difference to someone elses life instead of someones own.

if u havent been to prison you will never understand how it works and why its works im not condoning crime and i am not trying to play this as the sob story what i done was wrong and for that i spent 12 months of my life in prison i belive it works. its whats to offer these people that have nothing in their life when they are released they now have a criminal record have to go to probation once a week all things to put people of from employing them and some people feel they have no choice but to committe crime if u make 1 terrible mistake in ur life that winds up gettin u sent down its not time served problem done it follows u around for ever u pay for that for the rest of ur life like i said unless uve been u wont understand
