Wait for a reply Seiki. I think he knows where some Stainless steel ones are. If he does, post the link in your build thread.

See if you can fit the 520 conversion to your new wheels.

Still lookin for spokes ,but I'm deffinatly gonna build them myself It's not that difficult and if I put it on here others can do theirs and save loads ov money Rims eBay £30 Powder coat hubs £30 Spokes about £60 £120 and just think what the wheels are gonna end up like....can't wait Bike will be loads lighter Less unsprung weight for better handling Less tourqe required to spin the back wheel so faster acceleration That's a lot of gain for not a lot of money Just need them spokes to get this underway Tried the links above but a bit pricey ,thanks for looking guys The portugese guy was selling f+r with nipples and postage for about £50 so they must be available a bit cheaper than £50 a wheel and then £8 postage I don't have the two finger lever yet but I have the easy clutch it's bigger than it looks

Not sure about other coulors ? This is the guy that sells the hp rear fenders on eBay so you could ask him, Or buy these and anodise them, you can do small bits in a bucket. Has anybody else on here built there own wheels and do they have any tips, I rebuild engines / forks etc and am an engineer at heart but this will be my first set of custom rims

Ok a little update, got F+R spokes in the post and their bangin Got tomoz off work so gonna make a start, just need to remove the tyre from th rear Ali rim to get started,I can't wait ,the front gonna be so light,it's gonna want to lift all the time and the back is gonna b so easy to turn its gonna feel like I've lightend the flywheel, plus no rust, and the suspension is able to move up n down quicker so handling will be more responsive, will star uploading pics asap

The strip down and polish up has started, Some people say u can use tennis balls in yer wheel like mooses, gonna look into this as would be lovely not to get flats on the lanes etc,

I was thinking spray but the hubs are Ali and will oxidise under the paint and make it chip before long, powder coat is more perminant and can be jet washed nice and hard to clean them up ,£55 for both and they shotblast them first

£55 for a hub £20 on rattle cans /plasticoat and you could get just as good finish ?

for frames and body yeah pay for a good powder coat as they take bangs scratches ect but a hub is pritty well protected / so would have to be a diy spray job

I think it's a rip off aswell ,I could do loads of bits with this (and a toaster oven to bake it for 25mins @ 400c),pegs/rad brackets/stand/callipers/all the handlebar hardware/rear master cylinder/engine brackets etc etc, could save loads of dolla ,http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eastwood-Hot-Coat-Powder-Coating-Gun-BRAND-NEW-10198-/140735575007?pt=UK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item20c47e73df#ht_666wt_689
