hi mate the xtc runs the 4fl engine form the tz125r (4fl) not the 4dl (itlian import)
the bigest problems with the sachs version is a very resictive intake cause to lack of space due to the wanky ****ty underseat pipe , by binning this and the intake and replacing with say standard 28mm intake of the dtr or going better and fitting the 32mm of the 4dl and run a side exit pipe the bike will be on the same margain as the tzr, this aside the bikes in genral are a bit **** though build quilaty isnt great one main problem there known for is letting water in through the top of the petrol cap area,
and the biggest other problem PARTS you will find that 3x motorcycles are the only importers for sachs in the uk and parts and waiting for them is a long process ,
in my opnion stick to jap or if you want a road bike consder a uk spec tzr there ****ing awsome to ride parts are pleantly and youre be suprised by the power they have lol

I had a 2 stroke version of this bike before getting my DT. I've gotta say it was really quite fast, clocked at 87mph once. Which for a 16 stone fella is pretty impressive loll
